General Information
about Citing in GSA Style

The Geological Society of America is the citation style sometimes used by the Earth Sciences department at UNC Charlotte.

The full details of its requirements are available at the online CITATION STYLE GUIDEGSA Reference Guidelines (PDF). (also: Figure Guidelines and Table Guidelines)

EndNote is bibliographic management software.  Users create "libraries" of citations with EndNote, which works with Microsoft Word.  When writing a paper, EndNote is used to format bibliographies and references in various styles.  Many of the databases listed above can export citations to an EndNote Library.
