Introduction

Describes the purpose of the study and the main question to be answered. Tells what’s already known and what’s to be found out, often known as the

literature review.

Methods/Methodology

Tells how the research was performed. Details who was involved (participants) and how the study was conducted (procedure).

Results

Describes the results of the study.

Often results are presented visually in the form of graphs, charts, maps, etc.

Conclusion

Restates the findings and results. Overview of what was discovered and what still needs to be researched.

 

Discussion

Provides a summary of the findings and answer to research question.
