As a new Niner, you have access to an exciting range of spaces, services, and collections that will support your academic and personal growth at UNC Charlotte. We invite you to spend time in Atkins Library during your first year. Grab a cup of coffee at Peet’s Cafe, conduct research with our impressive collections, create something new in Area 49, or relax with a new book in a cozy alcove on our ground floor. While finding your home at UNC Charlotte, find your spot at Atkins Library.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, procedures to protect the health of our campus community and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 will be in place. From August 31st until further notice:
This recorded SOAR webinar provides an overview of the resources, services, and educational opportunities provided by Atkins Library. In a series of lightning talks, librarians discuss topics such as Area 49, research and instruction, student engagement activities, equipment/materials available for checkout, and more.
While Atkins Library becomes your new home during finals week, join us for events all week meant to help you de-stress. Take a study break with our therapy dogs, mentally unwind with some coloring books in our Recharge Room, or cup of coffee and a donut during our morning time study boost.
Check back this fall to find out how you can de-stress at Atkins Library during finals week.
